Products

From June of 2009 to June of 2010 Coastal Crushed Concrete sold close to 1 million tons of TXDOT approved flexible base from our various locations in Houston and Victoria. We have supplied our products to customers across various markets and industries, ranging from commercial uses such as Walmart parking lots to pipe and shipping yards for heavy industrial customers. We also recently acquired a yard in Corpus Christi, Texas from which we are now providing a range of reclaimed and recycled aggregate materials.

1.5" Crushed Concrete

Also known as flex base, this product is used by TXDOT and is TXDOT Certified as Item 247. It is commonly used in pipe yards; lay down yards, parking lots, driveways and major freeway projects.

3x5" Crushed Concrete

Also known as Bull Rock, this product is commonly used as the base for a construction entrance. Other uses include fill for a poor sub grade, such as muddy soft areas, and occasionally for erosion control.

Rip Rap

Rip Rap is offered in two grades: Grade 1, which ranges from 12” to 18”, and Grade 2, which ranges from 18” to 24”. It is typically used on an embankment for erosion control, as well as in retention and detention ponds.

Crushed Asphalt

Crushed Asphalt is similar to milled asphalt and is sized 1.5” minus at the largest. It has a nice cosmetic look that works very well for parking lots.

Stabilized Base Material

Stabilized Base is 1.5” to fines crushed concrete mixed with cement to the percentage requested. The state specification is generally five percent. This product works very well for high traffic areas.

Limestone

Limestone is natural aggregate with a nice cosmetic look that works great for land preservation. This product also meets TXDOT Spec 247.
